Position- RN ICU
Shift- Night
Pay Range- $3100 - $3300
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Start Date: 06/10/2024
Duration: 13 Weeks
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients in the ICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to medical emergencies within the ICU
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Skills:
- Proficiency in pain management techniques
- Experience in health coaching for patients
- Knowledge of senior care practices
- Strong understanding of physiology
- Familiarity with pediatric patient care
- Ability to use eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Expertise in critical care nursing
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous
- Specialized knowledge in infectious disease care
- Understanding of geriatric patient needs
